Creating a Belle Époque Café.
A French-Viennoise Café concept was missing in the Cultural Village, and thus M&O was assigned to develop a solution for an existing building. As per request, M&O developed a café of bygone days to leave the present world outside the doors, capturing the atmosphere of the legendary European coffee houses of the 19th century in Paris or Vienna. The existing building had to be fully transformed to fulfil the client’s expectations, including a classical stucco ceiling, fin-de-siècle ornaments on the façade – just to name a few of the handcrafted details involved. Maison Blanche is not only a place to enjoy a good coffee, it´s a place to stop the time for some hours.
