Villacqva

Creating a luxurious, floating hideaway.

Doha has gone through an almost absurd hotel- and hospitality-boom as of the last 10 years, where the majority of the projects have been more or less formulaic. One exception would be the Villacqva project. M&O was approached by H.E. Sheik Jassim to create an extraordinary hospitality attraction in form of 10 small beach retreats, right at the beachfront of the Cultural Village. Built along a jetty, the luxurious lodges can be booked to privately spend some pampered hours with family and friends. M&O was asked to design both the signature style villas, as well as the interiors – with an emphasis on the Arabic heritage.
